Job Description

Position Overview

We are looking for a talented Full Stack Software Engineer with a proven track record in building microservices-based applications using Python, Flask, Django, and React.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience or familiarity with building Machine Learning (ML) applications in a low-latency setup.

As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and optimizing robust and scalable software solutions that integrate cutting-edge ML capabilities.

Responsibilities

1. Microservices Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications using Python and web frameworks like Flask and Django.
2. Frontend Development: Create user-friendly and responsive interfaces using React, ensuring seamless user experiences across different devices and platforms.
3. Backend Development: Build efficient and scalable backend systems to support data processing, storage, and retrieval, and facilitate seamless communication between microservices.
4. API Development: Design and implement RESTful APIs to enable smooth integration with external services and facilitate communication between frontend and backend components.
5. Low Latency Setup: Utilize performance optimization techniques to create low-latency setups for ML applications, ensuring real-time response and minimal delay.
6. Machine Learning Integration: Collaborate with data scientists to integrate ML models into the application, ensuring proper deployment, monitoring, and inference.
7. Data Pipelines: Develop data pipelines to preprocess and prepare data for ML models, ensuring data quality and consistency.
8. Security and Authentication: Implement security measures, authentication mechanisms, and access controls to protect sensitive data and ensure application security.
9. Testing and Quality Assurance: Write unit tests, conduct code reviews, and ensure high code quality to deliver reliable and maintainable software solutions.
10. Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation for code, APIs, and architecture to facilitate seamless collaboration and future development.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer with a focus on microservices development and exposure to Machine Learning applications.
3. Proficiency in Python and experience with web frameworks like Flask and Django. Strong knowledge of JavaScript and experience with React or other frontend frameworks.
4. Proven expertise in building and deploying microservices in a production environment.
5. Familiarity with Machine Learning concepts, libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn), and experience in integrating ML models into applications.
6. Hands-on experience in designing and optimizing systems for low-latency applications.
7. Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases, with experience in database design and query optimization.
8. Proficiency in Git for version control and collaboration.
9. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex technical challenges.
11. Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
