Position Overview: 

As a Data Scientist Intern, you will be immersed in our data-driven culture, supporting the development and implementation of deep learning models and algorithms. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with diverse datasets, contributing to data-driven decision-making and solutions that have a positive impact on our customers and business.


Responsibilities:

  • Support Research and Development: Assist in the research, design, and implementation of deep learning algorithms to address complex business challenges.
  • Model Development Assistance: Help build and optimize deep learning models using Python and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras for applications in natural language processing, computer vision, and recommender systems.
  • Data Preprocessing Support: Aid in managing data preprocessing and cleaning to ensure the quality and relevance of data for model training.
  • Model Evaluation: Participate in the evaluation and optimization of model performance, including fine-tuning and hyperparameter adjustments.
  • Collaborative Projects: Work alongside data scientists, engineers, and domain experts in integrating deep learning solutions into our products and services.
  • Learning Emerging Technologies: Keep abreast of the latest in deep learning, machine learning, and AI, exploring innovative techniques to enhance solutions.
  • Communication: Develop skills in communicating complex technical concepts and findings to a broad audience.
  • Mentorship: Receive mentorship from senior data scientists, embracing a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Basic experience with Python programming and interest in deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, etc.).
  • Eagerness to learn data preprocessing, feature engineering, and visualization techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a curious and creative mindset.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities, with a desire to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Interest in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and distributed computing is a plus.
