Senior DevOps Engineer(AWS)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong AWS and Terraform experience to containerize, deploy, automate, and operate a multi-service application within a customer-governed AWS environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Containerize application, web, and generation services using Docker. Deploy workloads on AWS ECS/Fargate using ECR, S3, Secrets Manager, and managed PostgreSQL. Develop and maintain Terraform Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC). Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent. Implement CloudWatch monitoring, logging, metrics, and alerting. Work within customer-controlled and restricted AWS landing zones. Follow cloud security, access-control, and operational best practices. Prepare runbooks, deployment guides, and operational handover documentation. Support troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production deployments.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

5+ years of experience in DevOps / Platform Engineering. Strong hands-on experience with AWS and production environments. Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code. Hands-on experience with Docker, ECS, and Fargate. Experience building CI/CD pipelines. Good knowledge of AWS CloudWatch and observability practices. Experience working in enterprise/governed cloud environments. Strong troubleshooting, automation, and documentation skills.

GOOD TO HAVE

Experience with AWS Landing Zone / Control Tower. Knowledge of container image scanning and supply-chain security. Experience with AWS cost monitoring and resource right-sizing. AWS certifications such as AWS DevOps Engineer / Solutions Architect.
