Customer Challenge
Electronic Health Record (EHR) solutions are complex and typically licensed products that at the time were mostly deployed on-premises of the provider organization. The need was to build an innovative and cost-effective cloud based EHR solution and ensure Meaningful Use (MU) Certification from the United States Health and Human Services Department (HHS).
Solution Implemented
Developed the first true cloud based, SaaS (multi-tenant) in-patient EHR solution on AWS cloud using .NET and MySQL. Added Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE) and Ambulatory (outpatient) modules to the product after initial launch.
Outcome Delivered
- Product was deployed in 15 Hospital in less than 2 years
- 100% of hospitals got MU attestation (vis-à-vis industry average of 50%)
- Product was recognized as a Top Health Record Vendor in 2014 by Black Book Ranking and listed in the Top 100 Medical Economics listing in 2013
